Flushing your DNS may be necessary when a domain's information is outdated on your computer, or due to a recent change in the domain's configuration. Please ensure that you restart your browser after flushing your DNS. Flushing your DNS might not update your records, if your computer's DNS server has not yet updated its records.
Click Start, and type cmd. Choose "Command Prompt", and type the following command, and hit Enter.
ipconfig /flushdns
Under "Applications", go to "Utilities" and open "Terminal". Type the command, and hit Enter. The command depends on the version of OS X that you have installed.
Yosemite: sudo discoveryutil mdnsflushcache
Mavericks, Mountain Lion, Lion: sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder
Leopard: dscacheutil -flushcache
